He was predeceased by: his parents, Imre Lengyel and Ilona Lengyel (Jankovszky); and his brother Imre Lengyel. He is survived by: his wife Ewa Lengyel (Skorupska) of Coventry; his son Stephen T. Lengyel of Coventry; his stepson Sebastian Szafranski (Tammara) of Coventry; his grandchildren, Gwynith Szafranski of Coventry and Gabriel Szafranski of Coventry; his sister Ilona Lengyel of Hungary; his nephew Attila Lengyel (Nicole) of Medford, MA; his niece Ildiko Kay (Mark) of England; and his cousins, Gabor Janosi (Anna) of Willington and Joe Simonek (Eva) of East Hartford.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ss Cyril & Methodius Church (63 Popieluszko Ct, Hartford, CT 06106).
