He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigmund Sowa and Eugenia Sowa (Rzeczkowski); his former wife Shelia Sowa; and his wife Carol Gordon-Sowa. He is survived by: his stepsons, Brian Sowa (Becky) of Bristol, Kevin Sowa of Coventry, Robert Gordon of Bloomfield, Scott Gordon of Suffield and Brian Gordon (Sharon) of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Madelyn Sowa, Sarah, Ryan and Shannon Gordon; and his brother Robert Sowa of Collinsville.
