In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Richard leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Gagnon and Theresa Gagnon. He is survived by: his wife Ginette Gagnon; his children, Derek Gagnon and Monique Gagnon Morrison (Shaun Morrison); his grandchildren, Jaxon, Cameron and Ruth; and his brothers, Fernand Gagnon (Donna), Andre Gagnon (Jane) and Dennis Gagnon (Maria). He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a community of friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home (456 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Church (1600 Main St, Coventry, CT 06238). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (386 Main St, Coventry, CT 06238).
