It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Arthur Shook Jr. of Coventry, Connecticut, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy A. Shook, Sr. and Sarah Shook (Parsons); and his brother Dennis Shook. He is survived by: his wife Orian Shook (Handelong); his daughters, Laura Barnett (David) and Shelly Seymour (Ronald); his grandchildren, Joshua Barnett, Sarah Barnett, Ian Seymour, Roan Seymour, Fiona Seymour and Kiera Seymour; his great grandchildren, Jace Rivera and Mia Rivera; and his sister Nancy Savercool.
