The passing of Francis McGrath of Cromwell, Connecticut, born in Peterborough, New Hampshire leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McGrath and Ruth McGrath (Perry); his sister Priscilla McGrath; his children, Arleen McGrath, Christine Maynard, Robin Solis and Edward Atkinson; and his grandson Ricky Bromm.
He is survived by: his children, Richard McGrath, Patrick McGrath, Maureen McGrath, Merry Williams and Ann Strong; and his brother Dennis McGrath. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cromwell Funeral Home (506 Main St, Cromwell, CT 06416). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cromwell Hillside Cemetery West (29 Hillside Rd, Cromwell, CT 06416).
