In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Hazel had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Hazel may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel A. Riley II; her children, Daniel A. Riley III (Melissa Riley) and Jeannette E. Riley (Kathleen Torrens); and her brother Philip "Footie" Glynn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kane Funeral Home (25 Catoonah St, Ridgefield, CT 06877). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (55 Catoonah St, Ridgefield, CT 06877).
