Lawrence Oscar Anderson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2025, at the age of 94, Lawrence Oscar Anderson of Cromwell, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Parson Anderson and Oscar Nils Anderson; and his brother Raymond Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Anderson; his children, Laureen Cannata (Michael) of Higganum, Rebecca Rodbourn (Mark) of Cromwell and David Anderson (Jean) of Center Conway; his brother Richard Anderson; his sister-in-law Bonnie Anderson (Carolyn Anderson); and his grandsons, Zachary Cannata (Emily) of Denver, CO, Alex Cannata (Kristen) of Cromwell, CT and Nathanael Rodbourn of Cromwell, CT.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cromwell Funeral Home (506 Main St, Cromwell, CT 06416). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Andrews (331 Orchard St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to the St Andrews 100 for 100 fund at 331 Orchard St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
