Margaret leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Margaret’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Margaret will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Spears and Addie Spears (Robinson); and her son Sean Ashby. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Hyman of Cromwell, Timothy Ashby of Middlefield and Tarynn Ashby; and her siblings, Eugene Hyman of Guilford, CT, Larry Spears of Florence, SC, Ollie Williams of Florence, SC and Letha Green of Florence, SC. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457).
