It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Henry Kliewer (Cromwell, Connecticut), born in Tulare, California, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Kliewer (Heinrichs) and John J. Kliewer; his wife Marian Linscheid; and his siblings, Alfred, Ronald, Kathleen and Valada.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Swensen (Chuck) of Manchester and Heather Parris of Puerto Morelos, Mexico; his grandchildren, Heidi Swensen Wallace (Brian Wallace) of Fayetteville, NC, Andrew Swensen (Chaya Swensen) of Columbia, TN, Stephen Barbour (Stephanie Barbour) of Loveland, CO, Jeffrey Barbour (Baille Barbour) of Erie, CO and Elizabeth Barbour (Javon Lewis); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Abigail, Kathryn Wallace, Asher, Stone Swensen, Hailey, Riley Barbour, Emery, Marshall, Cullen Barbour, Jaydn and Jordan Lewis; and his brother Larry.
Donations may be given to the Benevolent Care Fund of Covenant Living of Cromwell, 52 Missionary Road, Cromwell, CT 06416, in honor of Ray Kliewer.
