He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine Valente and Basilio Valente; his wife Rosita Finaldi; his children, Joanne Matteo (Thomas), Dr. Christopher Valente (Johanna), Robert Valente and Lynne DiNardo (Michael); and his grandchildren, Justin, Drew, Kerri, Julie, Christopher, Joseph, Alana, Michael, Christina and Nicole. He was also cherished by his 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY – one of his favorite institutions doing charitable work.
