We announce the death of Amandio Almeida De Sousa in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 90. Amandio will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Jose DeSousa; his wife Annunciata DeSousa; his parent Felismina De Sousa (Santinho); and his siblings, Julio De Sousa, Antonio Sousa and Concecao De Sousa.

He is survived by: his children, Bernard De Sousa, Eric De Sousa (Ana) and Christina De Sousa; his grandchildren, Bernie, Samantha, Kevin, Katarina, Michael, Kyle and Bianca; his great grandchildren, Stephanie, Lyla and Eliana; his pet Daisy; and his siblings, Olivia Neves, Jose De Sousa, Aquiles Sousa (Lourdes) and Fernando De Sousa (Luisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
