With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Angelina McAvoy of Danbury, Connecticut, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on August 24, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jay J. McAvoy; and her parents, Joseph Cafaro and Marie Cafaro (Battipaglia). She is survived by: her sons, Shaun M. McAvoy and Kevin P. McAvoy; her brother Anthony Cafaro; her grandchildren, Brendhan, Shannon, Caitlin, Liam, Teagan and Devon; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Andrew and Isabella.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief, Western CT/Danbury Chapter, 2 Terrace Place, Danbury, CT 06810.
