We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, at the age of 87, Anna Adelaide Spera of Danbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Pietro Gentilini and Maria Gentilini; her husband Michael; her siblings, Gino Gentilini and Mary Olski; her siblings-in-law, Kristin Gentilini, Josephine Spagna, Vincent Spera and Louis Toscano; and her niece Patricia Pagonis.

She is survived by : her children, Nicole, Gabby, Friorella, Lissette, Jasmin, Marjorie, Kim, John (Mary), Anthony (Lori), Mary Ann (David) and Michael; her brother Lawrence Gentilini; her siblings-in-law, Jackie Gentilini, Concetta Toscano, Mary DiNoto (Frank) and Robert Spagna; her grandchildren, Michelle Sandorse (Matt), Andrew Spera, Loren Spera and Maria Strattner; her great grandchild Lainey Paige Sandorse; and her friends, Jessica and Helga. She is also survived by her cousins, godchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cornell Memorial (247 White St, Danbury, CT 06810). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Gregory the Great Parish (85 Great Plain Rd, Danbury, CT 06811). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
