He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Russo and Emily Russo (Florio); his close friend Barbara Russo; and his brothers, Sonny Coppollo and John Russo.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Anthony Russo (Lisa), Ricky Russo, Teresa Neumuller and Naomi Karagianes; and his sisters, Marie Ricard Phyllis (Richard) and Angela Dickinson (Robert). He is also survived by his many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
