She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Piech and Elsie Woodward (Piech); her sisters, Patricia Piech and Rita Cyr; and her sons, Todd and Troy Schirmer.
She is survived by: her children, Loreen Reed of New Milford, Ronda Gentile (Darren) of Cleveland, NC, Audra Mudgett (Kevin) of Port Richey, FL, Richard Schirmer of Spring Hill, FL and Kyle Schirmer (Melissa) of New Milford, CT.; her siblings, Alexander Piech (Maureen) of Danbury, CT, Elsie Pettit of Danbury, CT and Doreen Klein (Ted) of Lakeland, FL.; and her close friend Hicky J. Lubus. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
