She is survived by: her husband Jimmy; her children, Sheri Gunn (Earl) of New Milford, Marla Scribner (Bill) of North Carolina, John Ackerman Jr. (Lisa) of New Milford, Bonnie-Jean Hill of New Milford and James Hill Jr. of New Milford; her grandchildren, Bailey Scribner, Reese Hill of Genevieve Hill, J. D and Ackerman III; and her siblings, Lois Colby, Loyal Pond, Stuart Pond and Rolanda Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
