Cynthia Ann (McCord) McKeon Obituary
Cynthia (Cindy) Ann McKeon, 64, of New Fairfield, CT died peacefully surrounded by family on September 27, 2024. Cindy was born at Northern Westchester Hospital on January 2, 1960, to Jack and Susan McCord of Hawthorne, NY. Cindy grew up in Hawthorne where she would meet her husband, Brian McKeon, whom she spent 48 loving years with. Cindy is survived by her husband, Brian, five children, Ally, Matt, Karen, Jill and Andrew, along with her mother, Sue, sisters, Nancy, Debbie, and Toni, predeceased by her father Jack and her brother Michael. She also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly, and will miss her tremendously now that she is gone.
In her early years, Cindy attended Westlake High School and was a member of the Deputies, Lancers and Horizons color guards. Cindy went on to get a certificate at Berkeley College in White Plains, NY. During her working years, Cindy worked as an assistant editor at Cliggott Publishing in Greenwich, CT, an office manager for Taliercio Dermatology practice in White Plains, NY, was a stay at home mom and eventually became a certified nurse's assistant. Aside from her love and kindness toward people, Cindy also had a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds. In her spare time, Cindy enjoyed gardening, playing scrabble, and spending time with her family. Cindy will be remembered for her warm, loving nature and will be sincerely missed by all those who knew her.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at King Street Church, 201 South King Street, Danbury, CT at 10 a.m. on Saturday October 19th, 2024, with a reception to follow at Anthony’s Lake Club, 10 Christopher Columbus Avenue, Danbury, CT.
