She was predeceased by: her husband Hector R. Colon. She is survived by: her daughter Doris I Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Eddie Acevedo, Omar Acevedo, Hector Acevedo, Sheila Acevedo and Richie Acevedo; her brother Irving Hernandez; and her family, Iglesia Camino and Reino. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grand children.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home (9 Granville Ave, Danbury, CT 06810). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Funeral Home Prayer Service (20 Ellsworth Ave, Danbury, CT 06810).
