It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Barbara Lyons of Danbury, Connecticut, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley G. Simmons and Myrel Simmons (Bern); and her brother Stuart B. Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Joseph T. Lyons, Jr.; her children, Michele Lyons (Bob Riley), Stephanie Lyons-Keeley (Wayne) and Robert Lyons (Brenda Mac); and her grandchildren, Jessica Carter (Ryan), Amanda Lyons, Jacob Anderson, Samuel Anderson (Brook), Joshua Acuff, Jonah Acuff, Kylie Keeley, Chayce Schultz, Aidan Schultz and Brady Schultz.
