She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Kornhaas and Anna Kornhaas (Keane); her husband Don Kennen; her son Greg; and her siblings, Helen, Ruth, Jake, Kate, Don, Bob, Sally and Bill.

She is survived by: her children, Tim Kennen (Terri) of Danbury and Mary LaPenta (Jerry) of Bristol, CT; her daughter-in-law Sue Kennen of Wappingers Falls, NY.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Obuchowski (Dan), Kristine Kennen-D'Amario (Adam), Tyler Kennen (Kaitlyn), Troy Kennen (Lindsey), Ashley LaPenta and Jerry LaPenta IV; her great grandchildren, Lina Rose Kennen, Eleanor Jane Obuchowski, Gavin Rider D'Amario, Evie Mae Kennen, Parker Levi Kennen and Timothy Wyatt Obuchowski; and her sister-in-law Marie Kornhaas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Betty's name to St. Gregory the Great Church.
