She was predeceased by: her parents, Mercedes Paredes Purugganan and Col. Leon Crisologo Bañez; her husband Felixberto Garduque Valera; her brothers, Leon and Arnulfo; and her children, Mercedes Garcia and Angelee Niedermeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Martinez, Henrietta Vered, Michael, Elgie Nicolas, Gelly Valera (Elaine), Sue, Chona Trinidad (Vet), Marissa Bañez (Ronnie), Olga Bigornia (Junior) and Rene Valera (Lourdes); and her sisters, Bella Cabanos and Estrella Garcia. She is also survived by her 24 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
