She was predeceased by: her spouse Emil Dewan; her parent Ignatius Ziemba; her son Duke Dewan; and her brothers, Adolph Ziemba and Alphonse Ziemba.

She is survived by: her parent Katherine Ziemba (Gruzka); her sons, Darryll Dewan (Carol Robitaille) of Santa Barbara, CA and Dana Dewan (Colleen) of Danbury; her grandchildren, Jenna Dewan, Daniel Dewan, Dayne Dewan, Dawson Dewan, Dillon Dewan, Chelsea Dewan, Devon Dewan and Danae Castillo; and her great grandchild Everly "Evie" Tatum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
