He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Louis Silvestri and Mary Evelyn (Burke); and his brother Albert Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Moyer; his children, Mary Simmons (Justin), Julia Silvestri, Greg and Michael Silvestri (Shayna); his grandchildren, Jayson, Ryder, Miles, Luke and Jameson; and his sisters, Nancy Silvestri (Jack), Mary (Sam Sabbagh) and Kathy Silvestri (Javier). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Contributions in Jim's memory may be made to the Danbury High School Athletics Department for the Jim Silvestri Scholarship Fund.
