She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gallo and Marie Gallo; her son Kevin; and her siblings, Carol Sheehan and Michael Gallo.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Butera; her children, Tom Butera (Kim) and Sandra Gervasio (Tony); her grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Lindsey and Morgan; and her brother Anthony Gallo. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home (57 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (376 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the St. Peter Cemetery (71 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury, CT 06810).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research to prevent, slow, and ultimately cure Alzheimer's disease.
