He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wilcox and Margaret Wilcox; and his child Chris Wilcox. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Wilcox and Lillian Wilcox.
In recognition of his contributions to Lasallian education and values-based leadership, he was honored as Manhattan College's Distinguished Lasallian Educator for the academic year 1996–1997.
