He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Mato and Anne Mato (Omasta); his wife Rosmini Mato (Rose); and his cherished Samoyed.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery (22 Tamarack Ave, Danbury, CT 06810). In 2005, Joe and his friend Bernie Rudberg co-founded the Central New England Bus Tour, which they successfully ran for 15 years until the pandemic.
