Laura left this world on October 25, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred "Ray" T. Cahill; her parents, Angelo S. Branca and Marie Grace Anita Branca (Tucci); and her siblings, Serafino Branca (Leo) and Yolanda (Branca).
She is survived by: her daughter Donna (Bruce Blackman) of Cotuit, MA; her grandchildren, Kathryn Blackman, William Blackman, Laura A. Cahill (James T. Hemphill) of Glastonbury, CT, James Hemphill, Sharon Zelman (Edras Contreras) and Natalie Zelman; her great grandchild Elias Contreras-Zelman; and her sister Mary (Branca).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church - Danbury (8 Robinson Ave, Danbury, CT 06810).
