She is survived by: her children, Leyda Cruz (Adriana), Esther Cruz and Barbara Cruz (Juan Rosado); her grandchildren, Raul Cruz Jr., Yanelie Mejas, Jeremiah Rosado and Steven Garcia Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Maria Robles.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home (9 Granville Ave, Danbury, CT 06810). A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home Prayer Service (20 Ellsworth Ave, Danbury, CT 06810). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Wooster Cemetery (20 Ellsworth Ave, Danbury, CT 06810).

Contributions in Leida's memory may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital - a charity that was very important to her.
