She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Nimer, (Nasser) and George G. Nimer, Sr.; her husband Raymond P. Jowdy; her son-in-law Bob; her great grandchild Tyler Cole; and her siblings, Helen Jowdy, Jean Haddad, George G. Nimer, Jr., Samuel Nimer, James Nimer and Fred Nimer.

She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Chapman (Ron), Rick Jowdy (Suzy), Ron Jowdy (Karen) and Sandy Harriman (Bob Harriman); her sister Yvonne Lefebvre; and her brother-in-law Ted Haddad Sr.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Madeline's memory may be made to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation - 2361 Hylan Blvd.; Staten Island, NY 10306.
