We announce the death of Matthew Haig of Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 62. Matthew will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Haig and Ann Haig (Schmidlin); his daughters, Samantha and Gianna Haig; the mother of his children Sue Calogero; and his siblings, Robert Haig (Carolyn), Michael Haig, Christopher Haig (Heidi), Dianne Barriere (Paul), Stephen Haig (Linda) and Peter Haig (Rebecca). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
