She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace G. Johnson III; and her brother Frank Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Ryan Alexander and Kristen Jeannette Johnson; her daughter-in-law Marta Lopes; her grandchildren, Lasett Light, Riley Ferris, Maia Louise Johnson and Atlas Horacio Johnson; and her siblings, Michael Alexander, Stephanie Alexander, Cynithia "Kay" Alexander and Jeanette Davis. She is also survived by extended family, church family, friends.
She also served faithfully as a Board Member of the Hord Foundation, always committed to lifting her community as she climbed.
