He is survived by: his sons, Robert J. Budnik Jr. and John G. Budnik; his daughter-in-law Davi Budnik; his sister Marleen Grandia (Tony Philpin); his nephew Peter Grandia III; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Modzelewski (David Modzelewski) and Katherine Smith (David Smith); his nieces, Molly Burke and Katie Wilkinson; his cousins, Bernie, Betty Belliveau and David Orpik; his grandchildren, Mathew Budnik, Miles Thomas, Ashli Budnik, Sofia Budnik, Kiley Thomas, Michelle Budnik, Luma Budnik and Grace Thomas; Renata Budnik.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home (57 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Church (104 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810). A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the St. Peter Cemetery (71 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury, CT 06810).
