He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor and Mary B. Lasar. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kingsbury Lasar (Davis); his children, Carrie Green (Michael Walsh) of Avon, Connecticut and Ephraim Lasar (Sarah Abanor) of Brooklyn; and his grandchildren, Jackson Green and Nico Abanor.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Lillis Funeral Home (58 Bridge St, New Milford, CT 06776). He died peacefully on Saturday morning, October 3, 2026, at Danbury Hospital, following a sudden medical emergency related to COVID and pneumonia.
