He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlando Ferrante and Maria D. Ferrante (Cortina); and his siblings, Enrico Ferrante, Annetta Baldassara and Maria Varrone.

He is survived by: his wife Philomena DeLuca Ferrante; his children, Orlando Ferrante (Donna) and Maria Ferrante (Miller); his grandsons, Orlando Jr., Dylan, Tyler, Zach and Austin; and his sister Angela DeLucia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made in his name to the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
