He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gentles and Marie Gentles (Nagle); and his siblings, Thomas Gentles, Mary Maher Ottoshavette and Theresa Sheehan.
He is survived by: his son William; his grandchildren, Emma and Thomas; and his sisters, Lilliam Tomanelli (Dominic), Florence Rubino and Betty Gentile (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home (9 Granville Ave, Danbury, CT 06810). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Church (121 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810).
