It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Assunta Leone D'Aiello of Danielson, Connecticut, who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosaria Petrone and Carlo Leone; and her siblings, Antonio Leone, Anna Fiorita and Lorenzo Leone.
She is survived by: her husband Fausto D'Aiello; her daughters, Carmelina Commito (David) of Shrewsbury, MA and Mary Horn (Randy) of Enfield, CT; her grandchildren, Persephone Commito, Lucia Commito and Brady Horn; and her siblings, Teresa Chiappetta, Viola DeRose and Franco Leone. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
