He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Nelly Smith; and his sister Maureen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jean Smith; his pet Rocky; his children, Joanne Machado of Coventry, Steven Smith of Dayville and David-Barry Smith of England; his grandchildren, Christy, Nathan, Ryan, Logan and Cara; his great grandchild Aiden; and his brother Robert Smith of England.
