He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert K Carter and Pauline Carter (LeClaire). He is survived by: his wife Joan (Crabtree); his children, Kristen Carter (Ricardo Echeverri) of Brooklyn, NY and David (Kristen) of Dorchester, MA; his stepsons, Ryan Duquette of North Grosvenordale, CT and Alan Duquette (Katie); his siblings, Mary-Ann Jodaitis (Frank) of Coventry, CT, Keen Carter (Kathy) of Putnam, CT and Dennis Carter of Danielson, CT.; his grandchildren, Luke Duquette and Finnely Carter; and his close friend Leo Chatelle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
