He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert K Carter and Pauline Carter (LeClaire). He is survived by: his wife Joan (Crabtree); his children, Kristen Carter (Ricardo Echeverri) of Brooklyn, NY and David (Kristen) of Dorchester, MA; his stepsons, Ryan Duquette of North Grosvenordale, CT and Alan Duquette (Katie); his siblings, Mary-Ann Jodaitis (Frank) of Coventry, CT, Keen Carter (Kathy) of Putnam, CT and Dennis Carter of Danielson, CT.; and his grandchildren, Luke Duquette and Finnely Carter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tillinghast Funeral Home - Danielson (433 Main St, Danielson, CT 06239). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (12 Franklin St, Danielson, CT 06239).
