Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Genevieve leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael D. Mainelli and Etta Ferrante; and her siblings, Domenic Mainelli and Lorna Mainelli. She is survived by: her husband Albert F. Metayer; her sister Anna Picozzi of Narragansett, RI.; her children, Thomas A. Metayer (Charlene) of Branford, CT, Mary Lynn Raggenbass (Marc) of Zollikon and Ann Southworth (Ken) of Darien, CT; and her grandchildren, William K. FitzMaurice (Lily) of Stamford, CT and Kathryn FitzMaurice Garza (Juan) of Stamford, CT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
