He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Toole and Margaret O'Toole; and his sister Eileen O'Connor of Greenwich, Connecticut.. He is survived by: his wife Sandy O'Toole of Darien, Connecticut; his children, Katie Turner (Andy) of Swarthmore, Sara O'Toole (Gibson Kinloch) of New York and Jamie O'Toole (Tami) of Glen Allen, Virginia; his grandchildren, AJ, Will, Claire Turner, Ella and Hadley O'Toole; and his sisters, Anne Finn of Scituate and Meg Gruppo of Fairfield. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the O'Toole family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of Westchester in Jim's memory.
