Jerome Wechsler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jerome Wechsler of Darien, Connecticut, born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jaffa Wechsler; his son Micah J. Wechsler; and his sister Toby Garber. He is survived by: his daughters, Kayla Hanocka (Jacob Hanocka) of Norwalk, CT and Lara Wechsler (Juan Bastidas) of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Rana Hanocka (Avi Binyamin) of Chicago, IL, Micah Hanocka (Ellie Rappoport) of Brookfield, CT, Shane Bastidas and Alex Bastidas of Brooklyn, NY; and his brother Harvey Wechsler of Allen, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In the 80's they moved to Manhattan where Jerome lived until the pandemic, when he moved to Connecticut in 2020 to live with his oldest daughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerome's name to the Arbor Day Foundation.
