He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruth Henderson Mayo and Robert Sprague Mayo; and his brother Ned Mayo. He is survived by : his wife Susan Kapp Mayo of Darien, CT; his sister Lynne Mayo Kaufman (Senator Ted Kaufman) of Wilmington, DE; his sister-in-law Janet Mayo of Whitefish, MT; and his children, Julie, Tom Bradbury of Atlanta, GA, Christy, Adam Hahn of New Canaan, CT, Scott and Erin Mayo of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
