It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Longner Ziegler of Darien, Connecticut, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marie Longner may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marie Longner touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Ziegler; and her sister Gail Allard (Tom). She is survived by: her brothers, Gary Longner (Jamie) of Hiawatha, IA, Martin Longner (Denise) of Ft Mohave, AZ and Ward Longner (Bethane) of Walcott, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
