It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Carole Johnson in Darien, Connecticut, born in New York, New York, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Martha Carole departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Martha Carole may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Martha Carole leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Corinne Maxwell and Carl Maxwell; and her sister Sue Wright. She is survived by: her husband Paul Johnson; her children, Elisabeth (Jim Buttz) and David (Tara Vandersloot); and her grandchildren, Caroline and Wilson Buttz.
