It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Harvey Burkhart of Darien, Connecticut, born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Burkhart and Barbara Burkhart; and his wife Prue. He is survived by: his sisters, Pamela and Linda; his children, Michael R. Burkhart (Nicole) of Darien, Daniel Burkhart of Easton and Laurie Lambo (Christopher) of Darien; and his grandchildren, Myra, Brynn, Tyler, Natalie, Georgia and Danielle. He is also survived by his two sisters, five brothers in law, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (2119 Post Rd, Darien, CT 06820).
