We announce the death of Gary M. Kryvonis Sr. of Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Kryvonis; and his brother Robert Kryvonis Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Nora Shea (Diaz) of Derby; his wife Suzanne Kryvonis (Cruite); his children, Gary M. Kryvonis Jr. (Brandi) of Naugatuck, Mario R. David (Tracey), Michael C. Kryvonis of Naugatuck and Monica Griffing (Larry) of Prospect; his brothers, Keith Kryvonis of Derby and Stephen Shea (Cheryl) of Derby; his grandchildren, Mason Kryvonis, Nolan David, Nathan Kryvonis, Grayson Griffing, Autumn Griffing, Logan Kryvonis, Chase Kryvonis and Willow Griffing; his uncle John Diaz (Diana); and his aunt Dolores Mahoney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
