He was predeceased by : his father Walter M. Ptak. He is survived by : his mother Antoinette Ptak (Celello); his siblings, Angela (Joseph Gambaccini), Walter Ptak (Marian) and Michelle Herring; his nieces and nephews, Joseph (Gayle), Jennifer (Alex), Melissa, Michael, Angela (David), Jason and Irene; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Danielle, Elise, Nathaniel, Hope, Isabella, Dominic and Amari. He is also survived by animals and cared for his cats like they were his children.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Branford Compassion Club.
