Richard Garofalo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Garofalo of Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Garbien Garofalo; and his siblings, Diane, Marietta Garofalo, Peter and Frank Garofalo (Footsie).
He is survived by: his brother Robert Garofalo (Nancy); his nephews, Collin, Nicholas Garbien, James, Ryan Homa, Jeffrey Garofalo (Keri) and Robert Garofalo, Jr. (Kristine); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan Homa, Marielis Laguer, Anthony and Gianna Garofalo; his nephew John Toni; and also Richard.
The military honors was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Saint Peters Cemetery (219 New Haven Ave, Derby, CT 06418).
