He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Matto and Philomena Matto (Voccia); his sisters, Donna Mulholland and Phyllis Onofrio; and his niece Karen Onofrio.

He is survived by : his brother Joseph Matto; and his nieces and nephews, Christpher Matto, Mark Onofrio and Sandra Mulholland.
