Cathleen Gannon Obituary
We announce the death of Cathleen Gannon of Durham, Connecticut, born in West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 82. Cathleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Denis Gannon; and her parents, Timothy Ryan and Harriet Morrell Ryan. She is survived by: her children, Cathleen "Kate" Beck (Neil Beck) of Vienna, Virginia and Edward "Ned" Gannon (Jennifer Gannon) of Stamford; her grandchildren, Nathaniel "Nate" Beck, William Beck, Andrew Beck of Vienna, Virginia, Denis Gannon and Julia Gannon of Stamford; and her siblings, Nancy Ryan of West Hartford and William "Bill" Ryan (Susan Ryan) of Park City, Utah. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yalesville Funeral Home (336 Main St, Wallingford, CT 06492). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Parish (280 Main St, Durham, CT 06422).
